There was no update from Brødskive last month, as it was a very busy one. There were some events I certainly could have shared with you, my subscribers, like the Karmaklubb* Trans Pride event at Trekanten the 8th of November, the QCZine #4 Place launch party at Baba Bar at the 14th of November, the newest Abjectified – Birth at SALT Art and Music the 30th of November, as well as my contribution to the RadVent festival in Tromsø the 5th to the 8th of December, where I held workshop in relational movement improvisation for dancers and non-dancers, and had a talk about drag history, theory and practice together with Rune Hennum Nilsen. I was also working throughout the month together with the program committee of Oslo Drag Festival in curating a selection of the applications for the 2025 program sent in through the Open Call.
So that will be my new year’s resolution, no event shall slip by under the radar in the newsletter.

New drag act for spring 2025 – “Love, Strife and Pride”
Brødskive will premiere a completely new act this spring, which delves into themes of Love and Strife and other related dichotomies, and how they as a queer person unpack and sort our shared heritage in the pursuit of living a good life. What is Love and what is Strife? What even is a good life, and what can we do to live our life to the fullest?
There are currently three planned showings of this act:
- Saturday the 1st of February “Open Drag Stage – Oasis”
- Friday the 14th of February “Haus of Blossom’s Valentine’s Show”
- Friday the 22nd of March “Locvs Eros”
Save the dates, and stay tuned for tickets and more information!

From the Archive: Christmas Greetings
In the year of 2020, when disease was roaming the world, and we weren’t allowed to see each other, I was part of a drag group called DragCore, and we made a digital Christmas drag show with both pre-made and live segments. The pandemic taught me many new skills, mostly related to streaming linear TV formats, but also DJing, which I now work with actively. I found this little nugget on my google drive, so since ’tis the season, I thought it would be fun to share.
Happy Holidays!

This is the place where you get updates from me, directly to your e-mail inbox, without all the fuss of social media.
Until next time.
